On May 19, 2021, at the invitation of Chuanglian precision, Xu Liangjun, professor and vice president of School of automation, Beijing University of Posts and telecommunications, and the team of experts and professors of 'electrical contact and electrical connection reliability research room', the Secretariat of Shenzhen connector Association, technical leaders of jinxinnuo, Yonggui electric appliance, Hengji coating and other industries, as well as Chuanglian technical team, A seminar on 'connector reliability design' was held in Chuanglian precision conference room.
During the meeting, Professor Xu introduced the development process of Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications (hereinafter referred to as Beiyou) from electrical contact theory research to electrical connector (high frequency and high speed). Beiyou has been cooperating with foreign research institutions and well-known enterprises in the field of electrical connection technology, and the college has established the first connector reliability research laboratory in China. Professor Xu's research fields include: electrical contact theory and reliability, dynamic analysis of electromechanical system, fault diagnosis, computer simulation, vibration experiment and detection technology, application of finite element in engineering, design technology of electromechanical components, etc. The scientific research team of Beiyou has provided important technical research contributions to the electrical connection solutions in the fields of aerospace, rail transit, industrial and medical treatment. The 'electrical contact theory, application and technology' compiled by the team is used as the subject teaching material for domestic colleges and universities.
Professor Zhou Yilin, Lin Xueyan, Lu Na and Kong Zhigang from the Reliability Research Laboratory of Beiyou have been conducting basic theoretical research and teaching work in the fields of reliability design, failure analysis and life management of electrical connectors. As a tutor of doctoral and postgraduate students, he has rich experience in theoretical research, product development and school enterprise cooperation, and has been providing doctoral and postgraduate talents for the industry for many years. They made important contributions to China's connector industry. In the meeting, they shared the latest technology research direction, material application and other topics of the current electrical connection industry.

In the past ten years since its establishment, Chuang Lian precision has provided supporting services for foreign enterprises and now competes with foreign enterprises. Its products are upgraded from 3C consumer electronic connectors to the development and sales of industrial and high-speed connectors. In the future, it will compete with foreign enterprises in the field of high-speed and high-frequency transmission.
Chuanglian precision has been a national high-tech enterprise and executive director unit of connector industry, and has gained some experience in the professional field of the industry. However, there are still some problems, such as lack of technical R & D talents, lack of basic theoretical support for product reliability, and reliability test verification. It is urgent to cooperate with colleges and universities to obtain theoretical research support, To provide guarantee and assistance for future development.
During the meeting, the technical leaders from well-known enterprises in the industry and the team of Professor Beiyou had an in-depth discussion. They communicated with the professors about the theoretical problems encountered in the development and application of electrical connection and reliability design, and the meeting was a complete success!
After the meeting, Professor Xu Liangjun said that he would continue to maintain communication with Chuanglian precision, and would like to cooperate with Chuanglian precision in school enterprise R & D projects, technical theory training and other aspects.
